WELCOME BACK TO THE BLOG!
There are 2 announcements:
1) WELL DONE GIRLS! We've successfully completed the interjc girls tournament and we've clinched the 4th position. wOOhOO~
2) As a reward for having done well and a celebration,
There will be a 2D1N SOCCER CHALET on the 29th-30th MAY!
please meet at 1pm at PASIR RIS MRT. the chalet is at downtown east.
BBQ-cum- dinner will be held on 29th night, so please come with an empty stomach, which should not be a problem cos WE ARE ALWAYS VERY HUNGRY!
please bring $12 for chalet, extra cash for outing the next day, and other things that you need for stayover. it's gonna be FUN
here is a list of things that we need vlounteers to bring on that day:
- poker cards -
- speakers -
- XBOX games - wendy
- volleyball -
- mahjong -
- tab00- mr au
- tongs for bbq -
- drink dispenser/ tumbler
do inform me whether you can help to bring the above items asap. and Girls, please feel free to bring along any games, food, bbq material that you want to share:)

You have 11, sometimes 12 GREAT players....
I love your great team spirit, never say die attitude...each of you will go far, very far in whatever you do..if you maintain the same kind of hunger and fighting spirit.
Keeper...well done..you need a trampoline next time (ha ha just joking , not meant as an insult)
best keeper of the tournament award to you.
Captain...great leadership in motivatiing your team and keeping them together.
No 12..you have great determination and always go for the ball...improve on your speed and no one will be able to catch you.
Goal kick and free kick specialist (specky girl)...love to watch you head despite your specs..very determined and good defender, running all the time.
Girl who miss in the last minute(hit the post)..great try but hard luck..at least you dare to try from way out there.
Rest of team...what more can I say ?
Sad to see some of you cry after the match...but that's good. Competitive sports are always full of emotions, that's why we are in it.We love emotions, ok we love it when we are high but not low..but losing strengthen us and build our characters, especially in a team game like soccer. No one person is to be blamed. Everyone has to accept defeat, even though you have done your best and your team-mate let you down.
In any case it's good to clear your tear ducts once a while.
Great to see all of you celebrating after that like you've just won the chanpions league.
To the jc2s, study hard and do well in your coming A levels..
let me sign off with a quote from steven gerard after they lost in the champions league...
